Carmen carries with her a burden of connotations that, although they are made up of very different elements, label and close her in the same way: preventing her from observing her reality in an obvious way and without cultural filters. Carmen looks like Spain but she is not. It is an alien, romantic and distant vision of a country in IV acts that roots with the saddest feelings, pointing out and allowing us to find in the less pleasant gaps of our inner coexistence.

The perspective from which Spain is approached in the south in this project is the same as that taken into account by Georges Bizet when creating the opera. In this cosmos, content is dominated by continent and the symbols lose their meaning in favor of aesthetics.
